Kansas Task Force Five was in search for a logo design that would respresent their organization. Since TF-5 is made up of several fire departments across the state, we needed to find a way to unify them all. Once we presented them with a few options, they chose this design. The logo includes the state capital building, the states leading crop "wheat", the maltase cross, and two stars that represent beacons of light in darkness. Since it's the job of these first responders to help others in their darkest hour. The Task Force Five is deployed when a natural disaster or other large scale event has taken place and vast amounts of help are needed.
